Overview

The AeroCom initiative has produced some openly available tools and products, such as

• prescribed aerosol emissions for present day and preindustrial conditions


• formatting tools for the participating models;

It also suggests to further advance standards used to format aerosol model output.

For testing a CALIOP-MODEL comparison tool is available. The weblink provides a link to one day of CALIOP and example model data for testing, a tutorial and the idl programme in sav format. An idl license is required to run the tool. Full functioning to several months of data is assured on the <AeroCom server . Please provide feedback to AeroCom!
