MODEL versus SURFACE OBSERVATIONS and AERONET DATA
PRELIMINARY RESULTS - you need to contact authors if you want to use results
Web-Interface is property of AEROCOM contributors (see contact)

Introduction / Objectives

This interface aims at putting aside AEROCOM aerosol model results and AERONET and other aerosol surface observations from different networks (GAW, EMEP, IMPROVE...) . I
t shall allow to look at data and model results from different angles to improve aerosol models and make better use of the existing measurements.

To facilitate interpretation of measurement time series of modelled aerosol component concentrations are plotted for a subset of ca. 360 stations.

Model/data-comparisons are also shown as scatterplots and on maps to synthesise the info. For these comparisons subsets of stations are grouped either globally, regionally or have been chosen as function of the (modelled) dominant aerosol component.

See further explanation of the features -> HERE,

Overview of processed data -> HERE
.

IF you wish to see results from other stations than chosen
IF you would like to see other aerosol data plotted against model output
IF you find errors
IF you have any other suggestions
IF you have no access
